The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by President Robert Davenport. All board members were present except Bourke Runton.
The minutes of the May 18, 2026 meeting were read and approved with one correction.
Treasure Jeff Devere went over the balance sheet. Treasure report approved.
Old Business
City Pool – Robbie Nicholas city Public Works Director showed the TRC board the engineering drawings for the pool. City is requesting payment of $15,000.00 for the engineering of the pool. The foaming of the pool will not be used according to Robbie. TRC board reviewed the drawings. Motion was made to approve the $15,000.00 and seconded. Payment will not be issued until the city provides the TRC a copy of the drawings. Project expected to start next year.
Visitor’s Center – Waiting for update from Stan Greer and Millworks. Project in ongoing.
The wall on Allen Street – Robert Barnes stated that the plans were approved by the Historic Board. City Inspector will issue a permit. Concrete contractor Miquel Conteidas will be placing the footing and concrete for the wall. Susan Wallace and Robert Barnes will work on the advertising of the project. Proposed schedule for the footers will be August 1-15. Construction of the wall proposed schedule is in September.
Tipsy Tea Party – Money balanced.
New Business
Cheers for Charity – Proposed dates are November 7 or 14. Susan Wallace will contact Monument Ranch.
A 250th Year Banner with the Tombstone Restoration Commission was donated by the Gunslingers to the TRC. Discussion on where to install it. TRC board decided to place it on a plywood board and hang it out front of the building. Motion was made to buy the plywood and staples, not to exceed $100.00, second and approved. Brad Wood and Robert Ramirez will put the banner together and secure to the building.
The next regular meeting will be July 13, 2026 at 5:30 pm.
