The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by President Robert Davenport. All board members were present except Bourke Runton and Susan Wallace.
The minutes of the April 27, 2026 meeting were read and approved.
Treasure Jeff Devere went over the balance sheet. Treasure report approved.
Old Business
Burt Devere has officially resigned as a board member of the TRC.
City Pool – City staff did not attend the meeting to give an update and explanation of the invoice submitted to TRC for payment.
Visitor’s Center – Stan Greer and Millworks in the process of reconstructing the doors. Project in ongoing.
The wall on Allen Street – Robert Barnes submitted the plans to the city Historic Board for approval. Susan Wallace made a Participant Agreement and liability waiver for people wanting to help construct the wall. Need to advertise the wall construction. Jason a local welder will construct the framework for the gates. Concrete Construction Company Out Of Douglas will be contacted by Robert Barnes for construction of the footers. The wall will take approximately 40 participants to construct the Adobe wall.
Tipsy Tea Party – Money for the event did not fully add up. Robert Davenport and Jeff Devere will go over funds.
Proposed Preservation Partnership Program – Packet was presented to the board will go over and review the packet. Aztec Mining Co said they might* help fund the program. Robert Davenport will do a presentation to the city council at one of the meetings.
New Business
Zeffy – Membership – Need someone to run the program to include membership, book store and keep track of stuff.
The next regular meeting will be June 15, 2026 at 5:30 pm.
