The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm by President Robert Davenport. Board members present: Robert Davenport, Robert Barnes, Jeff Devere, Todd Ste. Marie and Brad Wood.
The minutes of the July 13, 2026 meeting were read and approved.
Treasurer Jeff Devere went over the Finance Report, report approved.
Old Business
Visitor’s Center – doors are coming along, working on columns, should paint before install. Glass on order.
Wall Project – Necessity to move dates to November 7 & 8 2026, motion and seconded – all board members in attendance approved. Waiting for paperwork for concrete. Aztec Mining paying for 100 shirts for “Hands on History”. Ikes to provide beverages, possible Mom & Pops to provide lunch.
Grant Funding – Robert Davenport – possible grant funding of $10k by Aztec Mining for Preservation Project.
Cheers for Charity – Robert Davenport in touch with Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply for Auction Items. Suggests an engaging video featuring projects for audience presentation at Cheers for Charity.
New Business
Website – George (works for R Davenport) presented the new website in its early stages. George has secured the domain name .org (as well as .com (current website)). Domain name $17/year purchased by George as gift to TRC. Discussion over graphics.
The next regular meeting will be Sept 21st at 5:30 pm.
