Old Business

The church tower job was reviewed in detail, all was done and the bills paid, see the statement. The remaining balance was voted to be returned to the congregation.

Visitor Center – The Stan Greer proposal for millwork was approved, initial value of $75K with the understanding hidden issues may develop with a historic structure. The parking lot was discussed with several options all dependent on the city dealing with the central old septic tank. An adobe wall with gate appears to be a good solution. A quarterly report was submitted.*

City Pool – no effective progress, no report.

New Business

Liability insurance checked and approved for renewal with Dunn Ins.

Four Deuces Saloon donated $150.00, their prize in the Christmas Light Parade.

City wants financial documents and reports – request declined, it is not their business.

Caboose – custody kept with TRC, we can work out coverage to maintain the site.

Real Estate Tax exemption due at the County Assessor’s office by March 1st.

The next regular meeting will be February 23, 2026 at 5:30 pm.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 pm.

Respectfully submitted,
Bourke Runton, Secretary

*Added at the February 23, 2026 meeting, where these minutes were approved with an addition to the Visitor Center entry: “A quarterly report was submitted.”
